This policy explains how an order can be cancelled before dispatch. It is separate from the statutory right of withdrawal, which applies after delivery and is described in the Refund Policy.
1. Cancellation before dispatch
You may cancel an order at any time before it is handed over to the courier, free of charge. No cancellation fee is applied.
If the order has already been handed over to the courier, cancellation is no longer possible; the statutory right of withdrawal applies instead.
2. How to request a cancellation
Send an unequivocal request to itsistem@starchaser.ro, stating the order number. You may also use the cancellation function in your customer account where available.
Requests are processed during business hours. The confirmation we send by e-mail is the moment the cancellation takes effect.
3. Refund after cancellation
Where payment has already been made, all sums received are refunded without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the confirmation of the cancellation.
The refund is issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise. No fee is charged for the refund.
4. Orders already dispatched
For orders already dispatched, the fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal applies as described in the Refund Policy. You may also refuse delivery, in which case the goods return to the seller and the sums paid are refunded under the same conditions.
5. Cancellation by the seller
The seller may cancel an order where the product is no longer available, where an obvious pricing or description error occurred, or where the order cannot be validated. In such cases you are informed promptly and all sums received are refunded in full within fourteen (14) days.
Where a cancellation by the seller is unavoidable, no cost is borne by the consumer.
6. Pre-orders and backorders
Pre-orders and backordered items may be cancelled at any time before dispatch under the same conditions. No percentage-based or minimum cancellation fee applies.
